myRAC app: Your reliable roadside companion

RAC's 3 step guide to help you get set up in the case of a breakdown.

If you're a Tesco Car Insurance customer with breakdown cover, you will have access to the myRAC app provided by RAC. This will offer access to the following features:

    Report a breakdown

    You can report your breakdown via the app using the ‘Rescue’ button. The RAC will then start finding one of their local patrols to help you.

      Fuel Finder

      Locate your nearest petrol station using the built-in 'Fuel Finder' tool. You can view the fuel prices near you and even use the in-built maps function to get you there.

        My account

        You can see what level of breakdown cover you have in the 'My Cover' section. It gives you a list of features and benefits so you know what you’re covered for in the event of a breakdown.

            Getting set up with the myRAC app

              1. Search for 'myRAC' on Google Play store or iPhone App store.

              2. Download the app titled ‘myRAC’.

              3. Once you’ve opened the app, select ‘Create an account’. Using your policy details you should be able to register in just a few minutes.

                    With reminders for your tax, service or MOT. Use myRAC to find the cheapest local fuel.

                    Report your breakdown

                    RAC will take some details about your breakdown so the patrol is best equipped on arrival.

                      Tell us about the problem

                      You'll be asked for some details about what problem(s) you’re experiencing.

                        Track your rescue

                        Track the estimated time of arrival (ETA) for your patrol whilst they're on route.
